Mother Of Pearls (M.O.P.) is the
inlay material. As per the clients’ requirement or budget,
silver and brass can also be inlaid. Of course, marble (like Agaria) and sippy
(conch shell) can also be used. There can be a variety of designs. MOP inlay
can be in flooring also (random etc.).
Machines are used but this is a
handicraft. Chasing is done and then filling is resorted to. Hammer and chisel
are used (handicrafts).
They are into this trade since 1998. Makrana Mandir are not dealt with by many suppliers or vendors.
Builders and private clients are sought.
